Terms of Service

The service

Tamborin is a remote-hiring platform that connects people in Africa with employers around the world. It is operated by Work Life LLC, registered in Wyoming, United States ("Tamborin", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Tamborin you agree to these terms. If you use Tamborin on behalf of a company, you confirm you're allowed to bind that company.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. Keep your sign-in details private and your profile information accurate. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Acceptable use

Don't post false, misleading, discriminatory or illegal job listings or profiles. Don't scrape the platform, probe its security, or use it to spam, harass or defraud anyone. Don't ask candidates to pay to apply — legitimate employers never do. We may remove content and accounts that violate these rules.

For candidates

Applying to a role sends your application, CV and screening answers to that employer. Some roles are hosted by partner boards (such as micro1, Mercor or Turing); for those, we save your application on Tamborin first, then send you to the partner to finish — the partner's own terms apply there. Tamborin does not guarantee interviews, offers or employment, and employers make their own hiring decisions. If you earn referral or other payouts through Tamborin, you must complete the required identity verification, and payout records are kept as tax law requires.

For employers

You are responsible for your job posts and for complying with the employment and anti-discrimination laws that apply to you and your candidates. Paid plans and credits — Starter (free), Pro ($149/month), Business ($399/month), single job post ($99), 5-pack ($399) and featured boost ($49) — are billed through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time from Billing and keep access until the end of the paid period. Credits are consumed when used and are non-refundable once spent. Posting limits and talent-search access are enforced by the platform according to your plan. Posting a role does not guarantee applicants or hires.

Payments and refunds

Prices are in US dollars and may change with notice before your next billing period. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see your full card details. Except where the law requires otherwise, subscription payments are refundable only for the unused remainder of the current period at our discretion, and used credits are not refundable.

Content

You keep ownership of what you post (profiles, CVs, job posts, company pages). You grant us a licence to host, display and share it as needed to run the service — for example, showing your application to the employer you applied to. We own the Tamborin platform, brand and design.

Disclaimers and liability

Tamborin is provided "as is". We don't endorse or guarantee any employer, candidate, role or outcome, and we're not a party to any employment contract formed through the platform. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Wyoming, unless your local consumer or data-protection law gives you a mandatory right to use your own courts.

Termination and changes

You can delete your account any time from the Privacy Centre. We may update these terms; for significant changes we'll notify you by email or in the app, and continued use after the change means you accept it.
