About the role
What you'll do
Supabase runs millions of Postgres instances and is creating a dedicated SRE practice within Service Operations. Rather than owning other teams' infrastructure, you'll help each team define SLOs and error budgets, run operational readiness reviews, turn postmortem findings into lasting fixes, and remove on-call noise and toil.
Requirements
- 7+ years in SRE or production engineering, including shaping SRE practices
- A software engineering approach to building tools
- Experience defining and enforcing SLOs at scale
- Deep incident response and postmortem experience
- Experience with large multi-tenant systems, ideally Postgres
Remote and open globally. Supabase has no offices and offers equity (ESOP) plus a co-working allowance.
