About the role
What you'll do
Kraken's AI Infrastructure team runs the production systems behind its AI agent platform. You'll build high-performance Rust services for model inference, orchestration and execution, harden prototypes from the Agent Systems team into reliable production services, and tune latency, throughput and cost at the scale of millions of users.
Requirements
- 5+ years building and running high-scale production systems
- Strong Rust and systems-level programming skills
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems, reliability and performance
- Experience with ML infrastructure, model serving or MLOps
- Track record designing monitoring and failure-recovery systems
Fully remote; in Africa, candidates must be based in South Africa (other eligible countries are in Europe and the Americas).
