About the role
What you'll do
Invisible Technologies needs isiXhosa language specialists to help train AI models. You'll review and annotate Xhosa text, judge AI outputs for accuracy, fluency and cultural fit, and log recurring errors. You'll also help refine prompts, evaluation methods and language guidelines with the project team.
Requirements
- Full fluency in isiXhosa
- Professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching or editing
- Strong attention to detail and cultural knowledge
- Clear written communication
- Annotation or coaching experience is a plus
Freelance contract, remote from South Africa, with flexible hours. Pay is set within the published $8 to $65 per hour range based on experience and location; you'll need your own secure computer and stable internet.
