About the role
What you'll do
Consensys is hiring a Senior Manager, Application Security to lead security for MetaMask across its browser extension, mobile app, Snaps, backend services and smart contracts. You will set the AppSec strategy and goals, lead a small senior team, and stay hands-on with threat modelling, design reviews, security code reviews and software supply chain controls.
Requirements
- Track record securing client apps and backend services, including authentication, authorisation and key management
- Experience leading threat modelling and secure design reviews
- Strong grasp of build, release and dependency security
- Experience managing security engineers while staying technical
- Web3 or smart contract security knowledge is a strong plus
Remote across EMEA, so African countries are eligible; candidates based in France, Italy or Germany cannot be considered.
