About the role
What you'll do
Kraken, one of the longest-running crypto platforms, is hiring an engineering manager to lead a consumer pod building its Krak money app. You'll manage frontend and backend engineers, own the end-to-end experience for key features across mobile and web, and partner with product and design on quality and reliability. You'll also coach engineers and tighten delivery using agile practices and engineering metrics.
Requirements
- Proven record leading teams that ship customer-facing products at scale
- Experience managing combined frontend and backend teams
- Deep technical background in React Native and modern frontend architecture
- Strong cross-functional and stakeholder skills
- Payments, cards, Rust or distributed-systems experience is a plus
Remote; in Africa, only candidates based in South Africa are eligible (other listed locations are in the Americas). No fixed time zone is stated.
