About the role
What you'll do
Supabase is hiring a software engineer for its Turso team, which builds an open-source SQLite-compatible database with a growing Postgres interface, plus a cloud service that spins up databases on demand. You'll push the Postgres compatibility layer forward, keep the cloud API and data plane reliable, and help it scale to far more databases.
Requirements
- Experience building databases or similar low-level systems (kernels, storage, hypervisors)
- Comfortable writing Rust and working with embedded databases
- Background running large production systems on AWS and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with rigorous testing such as simulation, fuzzing or formal methods
Fully remote and open worldwide, including all African countries; Supabase hires globally and works asynchronously.
