About the role
What you'll do
Hire Hangar is recruiting an LLM Infrastructure Engineer for a client team that trains, fine-tunes and serves large language models. You'll build and scale inference services, manage GPU capacity, maintain the data pipelines behind training and evaluation, and automate deployments with infrastructure-as-code, working alongside ML engineers to move models into production.
Requirements
- Proven, hands-on experience building LLM infrastructure
- Strong Python plus backend or systems development
- Docker, Kubernetes and distributed-systems experience, including GPU workloads
- Previous remote work, ideally with US or UK companies
- Bonus: AWS (EKS, SageMaker), Terraform, vLLM or Triton
Open to candidates in Egypt and South Africa; this is a full-time placement with a Hire Hangar client, working US time zones (EST to PST). The application includes a recorded video.
