About the role
What you'll do
Supabase needs a Support Engineer to help developers who build on its Postgres platform. You'll answer and triage tickets covering billing, implementation and performance, reproduce issues, point users to docs and code examples, and escalate to engineering when needed. You'll also watch GitHub issues and discussions and suggest tooling that makes support faster.
Requirements
- 3+ years giving technical support to developers
- Strong SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, and comfort with complex queries
- Comfortable on Linux and the command line
- Experience working in GitHub issues and discussions
- Excellent written English; React, Vue or Node.js knowledge is a plus
Remote and open globally, but the schedule is fixed: four 10-hour shifts, Friday to Monday, 00:00–10:00 UTC. Supabase says it is mainly targeting Southeast Asia and India time zones for this shift, so African applicants should be comfortable working overnight.
