About the role
What you'll do
Supabase is hiring an engineer to own its open-source Python SDK, which backend services, data pipelines and AI agents use to reach the database, auth, storage, realtime and edge functions. You'll design sync and async APIs, make the library fully typed, triage public issues, review community pull requests and keep releases healthy.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of modern Python typing
- Experience authoring or maintaining a published library
- Experience on the maintainer side of open source
- Fluency with asyncio and Python packaging
- Strong testing habits and clear written communication
