About the role
What you'll do
University of the People, the tuition-free online university, needs a Sourcing Specialist to find and recruit academics who teach as volunteer instructors. You will source candidates through LinkedIn, university networks and referrals, run monthly virtual recruitment drives, build ties with universities, track pipeline conversion and chase applicants until their paperwork is complete.
Requirements
- 2–4 years in recruitment, talent sourcing or pipeline building
- Hands-on sourcing with LinkedIn, Boolean search, job portals and referrals
- Experience recruiting lecturers or academic experts is a strong plus
- Comfortable with an ATS, spreadsheets and recruitment reporting
- A degree in HR, business, psychology, education or similar is preferred
Six-month, full-time remote contractor role for candidates in Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya; the posting budgets USD 400 per month.
