About the role
What you'll do
M-KOPA finances smartphones and e-motorbikes for millions of everyday earners across Africa. As a senior engineer in the Asset Sales group you will build and run distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure and Kubernetes, own services end to end from design to production, and help shape how the team uses AI tools in daily engineering work.
Requirements
- Strong C# and .NET development experience
- Event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar
- Microservices on Azure and Kubernetes
- Observability tools such as Grafana or Application Insights, plus on-call ownership
- Comfort using AI tools for design, code review, testing and incident work
Fully remote for candidates in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana or South Africa (Uganda is also listed); you will collaborate with teams across the UK, Europe and Africa.
