What you'll do

Hire Hangar is recruiting a Windows endpoint security developer for a US client building an AI-focused endpoint protection product. Your first job is a Windows service that gathers process, file, memory and network telemetry to detect and respond to threats, using kernel-mode and user-mode components. You'll also tune agent performance and join threat modelling and secure code reviews.

Requirements

  • Prior work on Windows endpoint security products such as AV, EDR, DLP or firewalls
  • Deep C and C++ skills with WDM, KMDF or UMDF driver development
  • Hands-on with WFP, minifilters, ETW, WinDbg and crash dump analysis
  • Knowledge of driver signing, PatchGuard and Secure Boot
  • Remote work experience and strong written English

Remote placement with a Hire Hangar client, open to candidates in Egypt and South Africa (in Africa); requires working across US time zones (EST to PST).
