About the role
What you'll do
Supabase is hiring a Container Engineer for the team that runs its internal Kubernetes platform, the multi-tenant, multi-region foundation every other Supabase engineering team deploys onto. You'll build controllers, rollout tooling and automation in production code, set SLOs and error budgets for the platform, and share the team's on-call rota.
Requirements
- 5+ years in platform engineering, Kubernetes operations, SRE or production infrastructure, including on-call
- Real depth in container tooling, systems programming (Go or similar), or SRE practice, ideally two of these
- Confident on AWS with infrastructure as code (Pulumi, Terraform or CDK)
- Understanding of tenant isolation, from namespaces and network policies to stronger runtimes
- Clear async communication in a globally distributed team
Fully remote and open worldwide, including anywhere in Africa; Supabase works async-first with no fixed hours.
