About the role
What you'll do
Supabase wants a hands-on engineer to own the data behind its cloud cost work across AWS and GCP. You'll build the BigQuery and dbt models that turn raw billing and usage exports into numbers the company trusts, then use them to find savings, model margins by product and customer segment, and automate cost alerts and reporting.
Requirements
- Strong AWS knowledge plus working GCP experience, including how cloud pricing and billing work
- Data engineering depth with dbt, BigQuery or a similar warehouse, and SQL at scale
- Grounding in forecasting and anomaly detection
- Scripting and infrastructure-as-code skills (Python, Terraform)
- Able to explain cost findings clearly to engineers, finance and leadership
