About the role
What you'll do
Buffer, the social media publishing tool, is adding a third engineer to its small infrastructure team. You'll speed up CI/CD, introduce progressive delivery with Argo Rollouts and KEDA, upgrade the Kubernetes and Terraform stack, cut AWS and Datadog costs, and improve internal developer tooling, using AI to reduce repetitive operational work.
Requirements
- Experience in infrastructure, SRE, DevOps or platform engineering on production systems
- Production Kubernetes, including Helm charts and autoscaling
- Strong AWS and Terraform skills
- Experience with incident response and observability
- A mindset of treating developer tooling as a product
Open to candidates anywhere in the world. Buffer prefers at least 4 hours of overlap with EMEA hours and offers equity.
