What you'll do
Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce and Tumblr, keeps an ongoing opening for experienced software engineers who want to work on products used by millions. You'll ship code many times a day with peer review and continuous integration, alongside a distributed team spread across more than 70 countries.
Requirements
- Production experience with several languages and frameworks
- Willingness to become expert in PHP and JavaScript, the main stack
- Experience with large scale, either backend performance or a large, diverse user base
- Strong debugging skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel 3-4 weeks a year for team meetups
