About the role
What you'll do
Moniepoint is turning its cashback feature into a full rewards, retention and personalisation platform for roughly 23 million users, and needs a Head of Engineering to own it. You will start with a team of nine, sharpen the existing cashback product, then grow the domain into several product units while setting architecture, roadmap and an experimentation culture alongside Product and Growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years managing managers
- Track record shipping direct-to-consumer products at scale
- Real depth in front-end and mobile engineering, plus A/B testing and growth work
- Enough Java and Spring Boot fluency to lead backend engineers
- Still hands-on and close to the code
Remote role open to candidates based in Nigeria, Kenya or South Africa (separate postings per country); reports to the Group CTO.
