About the Senior Recruiter Role 

You will be one of Quizlet's full-cycle recruiting partners supporting Product, Marketing and other Business functions as we endeavor to accelerate our growth. In addition to your talent sourcing and recruiting efforts, you will serve as a valuable member of Quizlet’s high performance recruiting engine, making sure that candidates have a uniquely positive experience from the first introduction to onboarding. 

A breakdown of the average responsibilities for this role:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and target candidates for open positions
  • Identify and source top talent through multiple avenues: LinkedIn, networking, job postings, university relations, recruiting events, and other strategic sourcing channels
  • Ensure inclusive recruiting processes by proactively guiding and leading a diverse pool of qualified candidates through the hiring funnel
  • Greet candidates and help facilitate the current remote and future onsite interview process when we return to office, ensuring a high touch experience
  • Be an owner and do your part to keep clean data and reporting by using internal systems and tools
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure a positive experience at all touchpoints, including screens, interviews, offer generation, reference checks, offer acceptance and pre-boarding as appropriate
  • Pick up scheduling overflows to ensure candidates and hiring teams are supported with great interview coordination and experience
  • Manage recruiting programs in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Attend events and conferences that are relevant to our space and the talent that is intrinsic to keeping a healthy pipeline

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience in fast-paced recruiting environments at startups and/or growth companies with high hiring bars
  • Passionate about Diversity, Inclusion, Equity and Belonging and biased towards action to serving as a courageous ally to our URM communities
  • You care deeply about the candidate experience as we attempt to find and hire the very best people for our team
  • You are a creative and productive multi-tasker who can think quickly on your feet
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a critical recruiting touchpoint for all levels of our organization with exposure to hiring entry-level to senior management positions
  • Experience with recruiting and sourcing applications
  • Knack for organization and attention to detail
  • Thrives well in both an entrepreneurial and structured environment
